The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program educates and forms ethical and proficient business professionals who serve and lead in manners consistent with Franciscan values.
The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program educates and forms ethical and proficient business professionals who serve and lead in manners consistent with Franciscan values. Students may select one of 5 curriculum tracks (Analytics, General Business Administration, Health Administration, Management and Marketing) that best fits their vocational path.
Students can be accepted into the program starting in the Fall 2018 semester. Students may enroll on full-time or part-time basis. Both entering freshman and transfer students may begin the program.
Students should complete the regular application online indicating Business Administration as the selected program. Any questions related to the online application process should be addressed through the Admissions Office at 225-768-1700. There is no separate application process for a Business Administration degree. After completing 65 credit hours in the program, the student is required to complete a Declaration of Major form, which is obtained from the Registrar’s Office. This form must be signed by a BBA Program Advisor.

Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University has financial aid counselors available to assist students with the financial aid process. All students are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form this may be done online at fafsa.ed.gov.
Credit earned at a regionally accredited college or university is transferable provided the course is equivalent in content to the course offered at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University. Credit for college level achievement may be awarded through the CLEP and/or AP examination.

Applicants to the program must meet with a faculty advisor to develop a degree plan. All degree plans must be approved by the Dean of Arts and Sciences. Requirements for acceptance into the program are the same as for acceptance to Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University.

Humanities electives may be taken from ART, ENGL, HIST, HUMN, MUSI, PHIL, RELS, or SPAN courses; 6 hours must be from the same discipline.
Natural Sciences electives may be taken from BIOL, CHEM, PHYS or PHSC courses
Social Sciences electives may be taken from ANTH, ECON, HIST, POLI, PSYC, RELS or SOCI courses.
