Jamie Dearman

ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR

Jamie has spent a majority of her life in Baton Rouge, except for the years she attended Southeastern Louisiana University pursing her Undergraduate and then Master’s degree in Communication. Having spent so much of her life in central Louisiana, she has a unique and close connection to the area she recruits. Jamie loves reading, writing, and watching true crime documentaries.

Marlena McGrath

ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR

Marlena has lived in Baton Rouge for the past three years. She previously lived in North Carolina where she graduated from St. Andrew’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in Therapeutic Horsemanship. She doesn’t claim North Carolina as her home because prior to that she has lived in six other states. When her nomadic life led her to St. Andrew’s, she worked in the admissions office and fell in love with helping new students learn about their home away from home and help them gain a better understanding of who they want to become after they graduate.

Tilly Parkin

GRADUATE ADMISSIONS RECRUITMENT COORDINATOR

Tilly joined the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University admissions team in October of 2018. She graduated from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts and received a Masters of Management from University of Phoenix. Since 2010 Tilly has worked in various higher education college admissions roles including The George Washington University, Baptist College of Health Sciences, and University of Phoenix. When Tilly is not on campus she can be found running with various running groups in BR, knitting, watching crime shows, or on an adventure with her husband and Great Dane mix dog.

Rebecca Gruntz

ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR

Rebecca joined the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University admissions team in February of 2021. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Louisiana Tech University in 2016 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Southern New Hampshire University. Rebecca has a passion for people, which has led her through a career in the field of social work and is excited to now be helping students realize their passions as well. Rebecca has been living in Louisiana for over a decade, but if you ask where she’s from she’ll tell you “a little bit of everywhere.” When out of the office she enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing Dungeons and Dragons, or just cuddling with her cats.

Tierra Lane

CRM ADMINISTRATOR

Tierra came to FranU in the Fall of 2019. She received her Bachelor’s in Biology from Southern University and A&M College and her masters in healthcare administration from LSU-Shreveport. Through her college experience she gained a passion for helping students make that transition from high school to college as easy as possible. When Tierra isn’t on campus she enjoys to travel and binge watch medical dramas.

Zoe Ramachandran

Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions

Zoe is originally from the New Orleans area and is new to Baton Rouge. She has a Bachelor's in Family and Child Studies and a Master's in Counseling and Guidance from Louisiana Tech University, where she also gained three years of Admissions experience. Through her education and experience she has gained a love for helping students reach their goals.
