Welcome to the FranU campus community! Wolf Pack Orientation is designed to provide you a conducive space to make valuable connections, become more acquainted with the campus and its services, and gather helpful tips towards a successful and formative experience at FranU.
Students not yet admitted to FranU may contact the Office of Admissions at (225) 526-1631.
ADMITTED STUDENTS MUST SCHEDULE AN ADVISING APPOINTMENT AND MEET WITH AN ADVISOR PRIOR TO ORIENTATION. Information on how to schedule advising appointments is sent to students within their "Admitted Student Checklist" email and on their applicant portal. Please contact the Office of Advising, 225-526-1620, if you have any questions.
Wolf Pack Orientation is a required program for incoming students. Those students who have been readmitted to FranU, meaning they have taken classes previously at FranU, can choose to attend orientation if they wish to receive updated information. Students who are participating in online programs, dual enroll, or certificate tracks are not required to attend orientation.
One family member/guest is invited, but are not required to attend orientation. However, we strongly encourage their attendance, especially if this is their student’s first university experience. Since the information presented is new it really helps to have someone else to help remember all of the details.
Wolf Pack Orientation is being held in the Biological Learning and Research Building (Room 100) located at:
5222 Brittany Drive, Suite B
Baton Rouge, LA 70808
There will be parking and direction signs around the campus for your convenience. You may also reference the campus map for building #7. The parking lot between building #10 and #11 is for orientation parking. You can download a current campus map by scrolling to the bottom of this page and download the PDF under "Resources".
PLEASE NOTE: With the opening of St. Francis Hall, orientations may move to this building for either the Summer or Fall orientation sessions. Updates will be sent via email and on this webpage!
