Yes, all FranU faculty, staff and students who will be on campus for ANY reason are required to be vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination with one of the following COVID-19 vaccines: Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson and Johnson.
Any student whose course registration is limited to online programs that do not require meeting physically on campus for any reason or at any time will be excluded from submitting proof of the COVID-19 vaccine.
To ensure adequate time for an immune response to occur, a person is considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after completion of a two-dose series (Pfizer or Moderna) or 2 weeks after single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson).
You are up to date with your COVID-19 vaccines when you have received all doses in the primary series and all boosters recommended for you, when eligible.

Contact the site where you received your vaccine. They may be able to provide you with proof of vaccination. You can also contact your state’s health department. Some states have registries that include adult vaccines. In Louisiana, check MyIR or the LA Wallet app. Proof of vaccine is required.

Generally, as long as you have been released from isolation, are no longer symptomatic and have been medically cleared by a doctor after having COVID-19, you are able to get vaccinated. You do not have to wait until 90 days after your diagnosis. As long as you are not actively sick, you are able to get the vaccine.
FranU is following mask recommendations of the CDC based on Community Risk Level. People may choose to wear a mask at any time.
People who have tested positive should notify their close contacts of their exposure. Close contact is defined as being within less than 6 feet away from the COVID-positive individual for at least 15 minutes cumulatively over a 24-hour period. Contact tracing will be done for suspected outbreaks and clusters of COVID-19.
All people (vaccinated and unvaccinated) should take a COVID test at least 5 days after their last close contact to someone with COVID-19.
