Is FranU’s MHA program 100% online?

Yes, all individual and class group work is 100% online.

Do you have to take or have a required score on the GRE?

No, the GRE is not an admission requirement.

I am in the military. If I am deployed can I continue with my degree program?

If you are deployed while a student in the MHA program, you may continue your studies at the deployed site, as the program is 100% online.

Is earning the MHA degree worth the effort and expense?

Yes, the future is bright for the MHA students with a predicted growth rate of 20% in the next five years for healthcare managers and leaders. Also many healthcare systems now look to the Master’s degree as a hiring requirement.

How soon can I finish the MHA degree at FranU?

The program has flexibility to allow a student to determine their personal path for completion of the course work. It can be done as soon as 12 months or a student may select to finish in 18 to 24 months.

Can I get credit for life or work learning experiences?

Yes, a student, once accepted to the program, may apply for up to 6 hours of prior learning credit based on established criteria.

Can I get course credit for specialized military training?

Yes, certain specialized training received in the military can be substituted for course work in the program. It does require prior approval.

FranU is a Catholic university; do I have to be Catholic to be accepted?

No, students do not have to be of the Catholic faith. In many ways the FranU experience is stronger because of the interaction of students of many faiths learning together.

Is financial aid available?

Scholarships and financial aid are available to all students upon application on a need and eligibility basis.
