Radiographic Anatomy and Procedures Lab I

This course provides supervised laboratory experiences designed to provide a fundamental understanding of the practice of radiology. This course includes instruction in positioning and basic imaging principles of the upper extremity, shoulder girdle, lower extremity, pelvis, bony thorax and Thoracic viscera. Emphasis is place on operation of equipment, image production, patient care management, communication skills and application of radiation protection precautions.
