FranU continues monitoring upcoming weather conditions in the Baton Rouge region. The area will be under an enhanced risk for severe weather including wintery precipitation resulting in hazardous road conditions and power outages beginning Monday January 20.
As a result, FranU will implement remote operations on Tuesday, January 21.

Wondering where to live while you attend FranU? While we don’t offer on-campus housing, we can still help you find a living situation that works for you. We have a dedicated housing website with the information you need to explore housing options, including a frequently updated list of currently available housing.
Build lasting connections with your peers in our student-run clubs and organizations. On FranU's campus, there are more than 15 student orgs that aim to foster student development and leadership skills. These organizations include the Student Government, preprofessional orgs and societies and faith-based activity groups. Student clubs include the Music Club, the Art Club, Psychology Club and more. You also have the opportunity to create your very own organization or club.
Student life at FranU is all the more engaging through the Division of Student Affairs, which connects you with a variety of on-campus events and programs, including annual activities like Oktoberfest, the Turkey Bowl and the Spring Crawfish Boil. The Technology Services Center provides dependable access to technology, while the Learning Resource Center is available to help you with the writing process through free appointments. The University Library and Library Commons is your go-to spot for research and studying, offering access to a vast collection of materials in a range of formats.
FranU campus life is not only fun and engaging, but it’s also welcoming and dependable. That’s because we take the safety of students and the campus community seriously. To provide students with an additional level of security, the University hires off-duty Baton Rouge police officers to support our existing security staff.
