Jamie has spent a majority of her life in Baton Rouge, except for the years she attended Southeastern Louisiana University pursing her Undergraduate and then Master’s degree in Communication. Having spent so much of her life in central Louisiana, she has a unique and close connection to the area she recruits. Jamie loves reading, writing, and watching true crime documentaries.

Olveny was born and raised in Franklin, LA, before moving to Grambling, LA. She attended Grambling State University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Later, Olveny attended Louisiana Tech University, where she obtained her Master of Arts in English Literature with a concentration in American Literature. Her love for education led her to become an English teacher, where she spent three years teaching 5th-8th grade. When not working, Olveny loves spending time with family, friends, and her dog. She also enjoys reading and gaming during her free time.

Morgan has spent her entire life in Gonzales, Louisiana. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Systems Management from Southeastern Louisiana University and later completed a Master’s degree at Arkansas State University. Outside of her work, Morgan enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, shopping, and attending concerts. She is enthusiastic about getting to know both prospective and current students and assisting them throughout the admissions process.

Ben was born in Quitman, Louisiana and after some time living in Meadville, Mississippi returned just before attending Louisiana Tech University. He transferred to Louisiana State University where he graduated 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. He later discovered a passion in Information Technology and has recently found a new path for his career in Customer Relations Management at FranU

Marlena has lived in Baton Rouge for the past three years. She previously lived in North Carolina where she graduated from St. Andrew’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in Therapeutic Horsemanship. She doesn’t claim North Carolina as her home because prior to that she has lived in six other states. When her nomadic life led her to St. Andrew’s, she worked in the admissions office and fell in love with helping new students learn about their home away from home and help them gain a better understanding of who they want to become after they graduate.

Cindy Vásquez is from Baton Rouge and is a recent graduate from FranU with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. During her senior year, Cindy interned for the admissions office at FranU and the experience was so fulfilling she made the decision to become a permanent part of FranU's enrollment team as a financial aid counselor. Through her work, Cindy aims to demystify the financial aid process, offering guidance and resources to students and their families. She believes that access to education is a fundamental right and is committed to advocating for equitable opportunities for all students. In addition to her academic and career pursuits, Cindy is an avid artist, has a green thumb, and can often be found with her beloved niece and pets: a curious cat, a quacky duck, and a serene turtle.

Zoe is originally from the New Orleans area and is new to Baton Rouge. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Family and Child Studies and a Master of Science in Counseling and Guidance from Louisiana Tech University, where she also gained three years of Admissions experience. Through her education and experience she has gained a love for helping students reach their goals.

Laisha is a proud native of St. Francisville but currently resides in Baton Rouge, LA. She has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration of Public Administration, both from Southern University and A&M College. Beyond her professional pursuits, Laisha is driven by a deep passion for people and students. Outside of work, she finds joy in spending quality time with friends and family, playing the drums, and relaxing watching movies and TV series. A quote that resonates with Laisha is from Winston S. Rebecca joined the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University admissions team in February of 2021. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Louisiana Tech University in 2016. Rebecca has a passion for people, which led her through a career in social work and now be eagerly assists students realize their passions as well. Rebecca has been living in Louisiana for over a decade, but if you ask where she’s from she’ll tell you “a little bit of everywhere.” When out of the office she enjoys spending time with her husband, their two children, and two cats.

Wendy LeBlanc joined the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University financial aid team in March of 2007. She received her Bachelor of Science in General Family & Consumer Sciences with a Child, Family, & Social Service concentration from Nicholls State University in 1998. Wendy has worked in Higher Education for 25 years, specifically in Financial Aid & Scholarships for the last 24 years. Wendy is a life-long Louisiana resident. In her free time Wendy enjoys cooking and travelling with family and friends.
