Refund Disbursement
Refunds of credit balances are not issued until the student's actual account balance is $0. For students expecting a refund from financial aid, the funds must be received by the University, and applied first to any balance due for the semester.
From the point that a credit balance is generated, students should allow up to two weeks for receipt of a check by mail. The following are general times by which refund checks may be expected.

- Student Loans - 2nd week of semester
- Federal Grants (Pell, SEOG) - 5th week of semester
- TOPS, Go Grant - Mid semester (October and March)
Refund checks are mailed to the address on file in the Registrar's Office. Checks cannot be picked up at the Bursar's Office.
