University Level Accreditation

Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees. Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University has been accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) since 1994. The accreditation was most recently re-affirmed in 2019. The University’s next reaffirmation will be in 2029.

Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University is a member of the Louisiana Association of Independent Colleges and Universities and is exempt from registration and licensure by the Louisiana Board of Regents as established by the Louisiana State Legislature in RS.17:1808 and is recognized as an "eligible institution" under the provisions of RS.17:2053 (D).
