Emergency Notification and Timely Warning Notices
Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University has developed a procedure for “timely
warning notices” to be disseminated to students and employees should a violent crime
be reported to campus or local police that is considered to be a threat to students
and employees. The procedure is designed to enable University administrators to make
prompt decisions about the dissemination of warnings in a manner that is timely and
that will aid in the prevention of similar crimes on campus.
Procedure:
Official messages will be managed by the Communications Team and placed on the University website, portal and the emergency hotline (225-526-1600) as well as being distributed by e-mail and text message.
