Biography

Dr. Carla Harmon is a certified nurse educator and serves as program director of the pre-licensure baccalaureate nursing program at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University. She completed her undergraduate degree in 1995 and her graduate degrees in 2004 from Southern University and A&M College, followed by a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Louisiana State University in 2015. Dr. Harmon is currently a member of BRDNA Board of Directors and the LSNA Health Policy committee. Additionally, she serves as an ACEN (Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing) peer evaluator.
