Biography

Dr. Ellis Smith is an Assistant Professor of Applied Behavior Analysis. She holds both a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Teachers College, Columbia University. Dr. Smith's primary research interests lie in the areas of verbal behavior and educational interventions. Prior to joining FranU, Dr. Smith gained teaching experience at Nicholls State University, where she instructed courses in research methods, ethics, and educational interventions. Her practical experience includes providing behavior analytic services in a variety of educational settings, including special education and general education elementary schools, as well as within insurance-based service models.
