Biography
Judith V. Roberson joined Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University as Vice President for Institutional Advancement in August of 2015. Her 35-year career in higher education has included transformational work for the University of New Orleans and the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, where she played a leadership role in creating a comprehensive advancement program and grew relationships with new and existing donors through a grateful client program. Other institutions where she has held leadership roles include The University of New Orleans, Louisiana State University, University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Sallie Mae, Nellie Mae and Stamats Higher Education Marketing. Her responsibility at Franciscan University is to lead a high-performing institutional advancement team and to secure philanthropic support for the strategic and master campus plan of the University. Judith has served on the boards of The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) in a various roles, including President in 2021, Chair of the Philanthropy Committee and Chair of the Ethics Committee. Judith has also served on the Diocesan School Board for the Diocese of Baton Rouge for 8 years with positions as Board Chair and Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee. She now serves on the inaugural board for St. Francis Xavier Catholic School. Judith is also a member of the Rotary Club of Baton Rouge.
