Biography
As the Director of Vocational Discernment and Career Development at FranU, Keyo Johnson draws on over a decade of experience in K'12 education, more than five years in counseling as a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (P.L.P.C.), and several years in higher education to support students in discovering purposeful, fulfilling career paths. Guided by a strong sense of mission, Keyo has helped initiate a student development program through secured funding, supported the training of nine faculty, staff, and alumni as Vocational Discernment Coaches, and continues to organize career events and cultivate partnerships that enrich the student experience and expand their opportunities. Passionate about equipping students with both the clarity and the skills they need to confidently pursue their calling and career goals, Keyo is currently a fellow of the Baton Rouge Leadership Class of 2025 and a member of the inaugural NetVUE Staff Seminar Cohort for 2025, further deepening a commitment to servant leadership and purposeful engagement in higher education.
