Biography

Lesley was born and raised in Chicago, IL and comes from a Mexican American family. She pursued her Bachelor of Social Work at Valparaiso University. At her time at Valparaiso University, Lesley loved being involved on campus, which got her interested in student affairs after interning for various departments. Lesley decided to move to Louisiana to pursue her Master's in Higher Education Administration at Louisiana State University which she also worked for LSU Residential Life. At LSU, Lesley supervised Resident Assistants and helped to build community in student housing. After graduating Lesley wanted to continue helping students with their leadership skills, which is when she found an opportunity at FranU. Lesley loves to cook and try food from different cultures.
