Biography
Laisha Webb is a people-loving, purpose-driven woman who finds real joy in helping others and making meaningful connections. Her faith is her foundation, and she strives to lead with humility, grace, and gratitude in everything she does. Born and raised in the small town of St. Francisville, Louisiana, Laisha is one of five siblings from a close-knit family that instilled in her the value of community and service. She earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in Criminal Justice from Southern University and A&M College. After college, she worked as a deputy with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office'a role that shaped her early professional journey. However, it was stepping into higher education as an admissions counselor that truly revealed her passion. Helping students discover their paths and being part of their personal and academic growth continues to inspire her every day. Over the years, Laisha has moved into progressively higher roles in the field, each one building on the last and preparing her for where she is today. She loves what she does and believes her journey is a testament to resilience, faith, and staying true to oneself. Laisha is passionate about creating spaces where others feel welcomed and encouraged. One of her favorite quotes, by Winston Churchill, captures her mindset: 'Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.' That's how she lives'grounded in faith and always moving forward.
