Biography

Marlena has lived in Louisiana for five years. Before that, she resided in North Carolina, where she graduated from St. Andrew's University with a Bachelor of Arts in Therapeutic Horsemanship and met her husband. Although she spent time in North Carolina, she doesn't consider it her home, as she has lived in eight other states prior to that. During her time at St. Andrew's, Marlena worked in the admissions office and developed a passion for helping new students acclimate to their home away from home. She enjoys assisting them in understanding who they want to become after graduation. Now, Marlena has a dog (Flynn) and a cat (Kamari), and she loves going on adventures (fishing, hiking, camping and hunting) when she isn't crocheting or reading.
