Biography

Paul Britt is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University (FranU). Originally from neighboring Mississippi, he moved to Louisiana in 1978 to pursue graduate studies at LSU. It was there that he developed a deep appreciation for the people, the state, and the art of teaching'ultimately deciding to make it his lifelong home. After a 35-year career as a Senior Instructor at LSU, he retired in August 2015. That same month, he accepted a position as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at FranU. For him, the opportunity to teach at a small college with dedicated and responsible students is a dream come true. He remains passionate about teaching mathematics and looks forward to continuing his work at FranU for many years to come.
