Biography

Dr. Castille serves as a full time faculty member and holds the rank of Associate Professor for the Doctor of Nursing Practice-Nurse Anesthesia Program. Dr. Castille received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2002, his Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia from Texas Christian University in 2005 and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2011, also from Texas Christian University. Dr. Castille teaches anesthesia principles courses in addition to his administrative role. Dr. Castille continues to practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in the Baton Rouge area, which he has since 2006. His area of interest is cardiothoracic anesthesia. Dr. Castille is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and is currently serving as an board member and Immediate Past-President of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Anesthesiology.
