Biography

William Sheffield earned his master's degree in organic chemistry from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where his research focused on rhodium(II) paddlewheel complexes. He currently serves as the Science Lab Coordinator and teaches both general and organic chemistry laboratory courses at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University. In these roles, he supports students through hands-on learning while maintaining a safe and well-organized laboratory environment. His goal is to provide students with practical experience using a variety of analytical instruments and to help them develop a solid understanding of scientific concepts. He is committed to fostering critical thinking skills that prepare students for success in their academic pursuits and professional careers in the health sciences.
