Dr. Bellar Joins Inaugural Class of Leadership Louisiana Health Fellows

A member of the class of 2027, Dr. Bellar joins the inaugural class of the Health Fellows program, a health-focused program created to build upon the legacy of Leaders for a Better Louisiana’s Leadership Louisiana program.
The one-year program brings together leaders from different areas to discuss the systems and challenges impacting health outcomes in Louisiana. During the program, fellows will participate in five two-day sessions and connect with healthcare providers, researchers, policymakers and more to explore issues that influence the well-being of Louisiana’s populations.
Leaders for a Better Louisiana is an organization determined to develop and connect leaders to create transformative change in Louisiana.
According to their website, Leadership Louisiana has graduated more than 1,600 leaders over nearly 40 years, creating one of the state’s strongest cross-sector leadership networks.
