Wally Franciscan Spirit Scholarship

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be Wally? You have a chance to find out through the Wally Franciscan Spirit Scholarship.

This scholarship is designed to help continue Wally’s legacy while simultaneously welcoming the next generation of FranU students to the community.

Applicants chosen will join a group of Franciscan Spirit students who serve the University through the role of Wally the Wolf, helping create energy, connection and a sense of belonging at campus events. Those selected will play an important role in recruitment events, first-year programming and major campus celebrations.

Selected students will receive a $500 scholarship per semester and will serve at a minimum of three University events per semester.

This Opportunity Is Ideal for Students Who:

• Enjoy being involved in campus life.
• Want to support new students and families.
• Are comfortable performing in costume at events.
• Want to build leadership and public engagement skills.

Eligibility Requirements

• Full-time student in good academic standing
• Ability to attend scheduled events throughout the semester
• Willingness to represent the University with enthusiasm and professionalism

Selected applicants will participate in a short try-out process prior to final selection.
