This course introduces the students to the strategic management of healthcare organizations. Students will examine programs and strategies applied by the healthcare organizations to bring excellence in healthcare delivery.
This course offers the lab component for the didactic advances clinical practice elective course that the student is presently enrolled in. Together, the advanced clinical practice course and lab will provide the student an opportunity to individualize studies and clinical skill practice in an area related to the student's interest (eg. sports, geriatrics, pediatrics, wound care, women's health, etc.).
