Special Topics in World Literature

This course focuses upon a specific author, theme, period, or genre in the literary heritage of a specific culture other than British or American. Works in translation are assigned. Class sessions may include lecture, discussion, film, and presentations. One analytical research paper is required. This course may be taken for credit more than once when topics differ. Successful completion of ENGL 2320 and ENGL 4310 is strongly recommended.
