FranU continues monitoring upcoming weather conditions in the Baton Rouge region. The area remains under an enhanced risk for severe weather resulting in hazardous road conditions and potential power outages beginning Tuesday, January 21. As a result, FranU will extend remote operations through Wednesday, January 22.

To be considered for admission, you must be graduating or have graduated from high school, have an acceptable HiSET exam score or take the General Education Development (GED) test.
Minimum requirements for consideration:
Applicants not meeting all admissions criteria will be evaluated for probationary admissions on an individual basis by the Office of Admissions. Students admitted on probation may register for no more than thirteen (13) credit hours [one must be Academic Seminar ACSM 1110] in their first regular semester; or no more than seven (7) credit hours [one must be Academic Seminar ACSM 1110] in their first summer semester. Academic Seminar and developmental courses may count as part or all of these hours. Students must also maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA in their first semester at FranU.
Fall applications submitted by November 1st will be reviewed as Early Action. These non-binding decisions will be released November 8th. Applications received after November 8th will be released on a rolling basis.
Students applying for admission to FranU after completing homeschooling will be evaluated on the basis of the qualifications outlined above.
