March is National Nutrition Month and March 10 is National Registered Dietitian Day!
The FranU Nutrition Association collaborated with Natural Grocers in Lafayette to create a demonstration video of a Sweet Potato and Chickpea Tahini Buddha Bowl recipe for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Acadiana chapter. The video featured Natural Grocer's registered dietitian Valerie Willis cooking while FranU students narrated and recorded the footage.
Elizabeth Courville, MSNS-DI Class of 2021 said, "This was such a fun collaboration. Huge shoutout to Dietetic Intern Taylor Lejeune for filming and editing and Valerie Willis for making the recipe. Another huge shoutout to our FNA volunteers who wrote and recorded the scripts."
