Tammy Vidrine recently joined Our Lady of the Lake College as the Director of Campus Ministry. Vidrine will be responsible for organizing a program of religious and spiritual outreach to the college community -- students, faculty, administration, trustees and staff. In addition, she will be reaching out to and forming ongoing relationships with the greater community including, but not limited to the Diocese of Baton Rouge, the College’s many community partner organizations throughout the greater Baton Rouge area, the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady, and the family of services throughout the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System.

Before joining Our Lady of the Lake College, Vidrine served as Certification Coordinator for the Diocese of Baton Rouge where she assisted in the development of online theology courses for basic certification and a methodology course for Catholic Sexual Morality for the Diocese of Baton Rouge. For thirteen years, she served as Youth Ministry Coordinator for three levels of youth ministry at Holy Rosary Parish in St. Amant, Louisiana, was also a member of Parish Council and taught Religious Education classes for the parish for fifteen years. She is a lector, retreat facilitator, and motivational speaker for ministries in the parish. She is the recipient of the Ascension Parish Volunteer of the Year award for her work in education and youth.
