Welcome to campus, Wolves!

Welcome Week is a celebration of community, thankfulness, connection, and the start of a new academic year. Every day you have the opportunity to meet someone new, connect with campus resources, faculty, and staff, and have some fun along the way. We encourage you to stop by any or all of the different things we have going on throughout the week. Let's have a "FRANTASTIC" start to a new year!

Welcome Week 2024

  • Official Welcome Week T-shirt

    T-shirts will be available outside of St. Francis Hall on Monday from 10:30AM - 1PM. T-shirts can then be picked up at the Student Affairs wing of St. Francis Hall (2nd Floor at the entrance near the restrooms past the cafe). LIMITED SUPPLY IS AVAILABLE!

Welcome Week 2024 Schedule

All activities will be in or around St. Francis Hall. Each day will have free food, games and activities, picnic space, and opportunities to connect with one another! Community Partners through our Office of Service Learning will also be present to share information about their organizations along with potential activities and free giveaways.

Virtual Scavenger Hunt

Welcome “Pack to School” Week Scavenger Hunt is a great way to learn your way around campus if you are new or get to know campus a little better if you are a returning student. Or maybe you just like to win prizes! Each stop along the way will have a scavenger hunt sign and a colored sticker (either self-serve or staff-issued depending on the location) to mark that you have visited each location. Once you have completed your passport, please return it to the box at the St. Francis Hall reception desk. Winners will be chosen at random and contacted directly for prizes. Happy Hunting!

MONDAY

10:30AM to 1PM: Enjoy pizza and yard games sponsored by Students and Enrollment Management. Additionally, indulge in Chocolate Bijoux, provided by the University Library.

Community Partner Line-Up:

TUESDAY

10AM to 2PM: Wolfpack Blood Drive in the parking lot adjacent to the St. Francis Hall Courtyard. This is organized by the Medical Lab Science Student Org and Intensive Care Earth. For more information click here.

10:30am – 1pm: Grab a snack pack from the St. Francis Hall Café and enjoy a nice gelato for dessert! There will also be board games in the Learning Resource Center. This day is sponsored by the Office of the President and the Learning Resource Center

4:00pm: All are welcome to attend the Mass of the Holy Spirit in the St. Francis Hall Atrium

WEDNESDAY

10:30AM to 1PM: Franciscan Student Life Day! Connect with ways to get involved at FranU with our Student Government Association, Student Organizations, and the Department of Franciscan Student Life & Servant Leadership.

5:30pm – 6:30pm: Community Night & Tailgate with a Pickleball Tournament

THURSDAY

2:30pm – 4:30pm: Annual Welcome Week BASH! We will have booths representing programs and departments, an obstacle course, the Spirit Shop, food and snacks, and many other things to have a grand ending to Welcome Week.
