FranU’s pre-licensure BSN degree program is designed for students who plan to seek nursing licensure but who don’t already have a bachelor’s degree. The program prepares students to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX), a test required for all nursing students to pass before becoming practicing registered nurses.
The ABSN program allows students who already have an earned bachelor’s degree in a field other than nursing to earn a BSN in 16 months, following completion of required prerequisites.
The traditional entry into the Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN-FNP) program is designed for licensed and practicing baccalaureate registered nurses (BSN) to become advanced practice nurses with a focus on family practice. Students obtain advanced training in primary health care to patients across the lifespan, with a special focus on practicum experiences in rural and/or medically underserved settings. Enrollment is limited and selection is competitive.
The post master’s FNP certificate program is designed for MSN-prepared nurses that wish to expand their scope of practice and become a family nurse practitioner. This hybrid program offers online and in-person courses. It prepares advanced practice nurses to become board-certified family nurse practitioners (FNPs) with a special focus on practicum experiences in rural and/or medically underserved settings.
The expedited entry into the Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN-FNP) program is designed for currently enrolled or recently graduated (within the past year) students (RN-BSN or pre-licensure) to obtain advanced education and training in primary health care to patients across the lifespan. Enrollment is limited and selection is competitive!
