FranU School of Nursing is Louisiana’s Undergraduate Nursing School of the Year

The FranU School of Nursing was awarded Nursing School of the Year — Undergraduate Degree Programs at the 2019 Nightingale Awards Gala, which is sponsored by the Louisiana Nurses Foundation
and the Louisiana State Nurses Association. This honor is well-deserved, as our faculty
work tirelessly and selflessly to provide the best education for our students. FranU
won Graduate Nursing School of the Year in 2018, so we are on a roll!
Please join us in congratulating the students, faculty and staff in the School of
Nursing on this great accomplishment.
Kudos to all of the nurses, hospitals and nursing programs across the state that were
also honored this year. St. Elizabeth Hospital (now Our Lady of the Lake Ascension)
and Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center both won Hospital of the Year awards.
