The purpose of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University (FranU) Institutional Review Board (IRB) is to make certain that people who participate in research are treated ethically.


FranU recognizes and accepts the responsibility to protect the rights and welfare of human research participants. We are guided by the ethical principles published in the report by the National Commission for the Protection of Human Subjects of Biomedical and Behavioral Research (Ethical Principles and Guidelines for the Protection of Human Subjects of Research).
