The general business track consists of 120 hours and requires courses in communication, statistics, accounting, management, marketing and other key business competencies.
In this flexible program you can tailor to your unique goals and interests, half of the credits are in elective courses in business, ethics and philosophy, humanities and fine arts, natural sciences and social sciences. You also have numerous opportunities to apply your skills in a required internship and your very own capstone project.
Our curriculum equips you with a solid foundation in the main business functions sought after by employers in a wide variety of industries and required for graduate education in business and other related fields.
To apply to FranU, you must meet the following requirements:
OR an acceptable HiSET exam score of 60 or higher.
OR a General Education Development (GED) test score of 500 or higher.
ACT composite score of 20
SAT math and verbal combined score of 1040
You may also apply test optional. If applying test optional, we require that you take Math 0310 OR submit a test score for math placement. We accept the following scores for placement into Math 1315:

Accuplacer Quantitative Reasoning ≥250

Humanities electives may be taken from ART, ENGL, HIST, HUMN, MUSI, PHIL, RELS, or SPAN courses; 6 hours must be from the same discipline.
Natural Sciences electives may be taken from BIOL, CHEM, PHYS or PHSC courses
Social Sciences electives may be taken from ANTH, ECON, HIST, POLI, PSYC, RELS or SOCI courses.
